Aikido is a way of life, my way since 1990.
Currently, with the Jerusalem Aikikai organization, myself and a team of teachers are doing all we can to bring Aikido to as many people as possible. Beginners and seasoned practitioners alike are welcome, and it is my great joy to see the circle growing by the day.
Jerusalem Aikikai was founded to promote the practicing and the deeper understanding of Aikido as a martial art and as a philosophy. We practice in the New Center of Oriental Arts alongside the Maga (Touch) Shiatsu school. Our cooperation stemms from seeing the common characteristics of the two arts, which originate in Japan.
Our home, The New Center for Oriental Arts, in Bak'a, Jerusalem has been established together with "Maga" ("Touch") Shiatzu school, as we believe the two arts, which originated in Japan, have a lot in common. Acting on this belief, Aikido students receive a discount in the Shiatzu studies, while Shiatzu students can practice Aikido as part of their curriculum. Each martial art has its own advantages. Those of us who chose the way of Aikido, did so because of the beauty of movement as well as the philosophy of harmony and peaceful solution to every conflict. I hope to walk this way with you,
See you in practice!
